I’ve known hope for a few years through work. I was absolutely thrilled for her when I heard about her engagement to Sam. Being in the midst of portfolio building, I was beyond delighted to be able to do an engagement session for them. We took a wonderful short walk through a little greenway in Winston-Salem. The cool March air and the morning light made for such a pleasant time exploring and enjoying the walkway. This was the first time I had met Sam, and had gotten to interact with both him and Hope as a couple. Their connection seems to effortless and their energy as a couple is just wonderful. They were adorably silly but their passion for each other was more than obvious too. Along our walk we happened upon a small waterfall. Of course, there was no way I could pass up the opportunity to get some more practice with my long exposure techniques. Sam and Hope were so patient and excited to help create some awesome shots! And It definitely paid off! Hope and Sam really just seem absolutely perfect together. I’m so excited for the both of them! Marriage is such a wonderful new journey in life, and I’m so happy they’ll soon be sharing that with each other.
